My origins? Born & raised in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, I have an inherent nostalgia for this part of Oz. It’s not like anywhere else I’ve ever been to in the world before. It has Queenslander houses and a vibe or spirit that you can’t quite articulate or put into pictures, sounds or words – it’s just a feeling & inspiration.
Who am I? Was hoping you’d not ask that one! I’m personable, human, engaging and communicative! I have a wit that’s “quick on the trigger” which has got me into and out of trouble, on more than one occasion I can assure you. I’ve lived in London for more than half my life and my main career is in the corporate world, based in London, working in Talent Intelligence.
Media? I’ve been loosely involved in the UK media industry since 2000, currently with a weekly radio chat show in SW London. I’m interested in what makes people tick & observing the quirks of life – it’s the stuff of sitcoms. My first real introduction to media, was as a guest/host presenter (approx. 2 years) for a weekly national television program on Network 10 Australia – many moons ago now! Growing up in Australia, sport, was everything, which I value enormously but I’m also interested in so much more.
Why would I become a presenter or MC? Because it’s a lot of fun & I love the live audience interaction. I bring to you a refreshingly authentic, energetic, positive, family friendly, warm hearted edge, to make your event or occasion, a memorable success.
What’s an Event Host MC? An MC or a Master of Ceremonies, is the host of a ceremony, staged event, conference, or similar performance is the key to helping it become an enjoyable event.
Do I only work in London? Yes, if it’s not in the Capital, it’s not gonna happen 🙂
